Due to the smooth surface of the gypsum base material, no plastering work is required prior to the application of paint and other finishing materials. Together with the ability to build the wall without stiffener up to 10 meters height, there is a significant cost saving in terms of material and labor could be contributed when using ‘JUMBO Gypsum Block’ walling system.

Every block is moulded with tongue and groove at all sides to enable fast and easy assembly. As no time consuming plastering work is required, you may even expect an early project completion granting massive satisfaction to your clients.

In comparison with traditional concrete block wall system, ‘JUMBO Gypsum Block’ walling system weighs only 50% of the concrete block wall contributing to reduced transportation cost. It also allows the engineers to reduce structural load when designing a building.

Conventional walling systems are prone to wall cracking after assembly which could be due to numerous factors. Our Jumbo Gypsum walling system possesses the crack-free capability due to extremely low shrinkage rate of the block and the gypsum binder/ adhesives.

Jumbo water repellent gypsum block mainly consists of calcium sulphate dehydrate (CaSO4·2H2O) and the weight ratio of crystal water reaches up to 21%. In case of a fire, the wall absorbs heat and the crystal water is decomposed and spreads to the surface, forming a “vapor film” which can reduce the surface temperature of the wall and completely cut off the oxygen gas required for combustion.

The Jumbo water repellent gypsum block possesses high density (1100 – 1200 kg/m3), superior compressive strength (10-14 MPa) and flexural strength (4 MPa). Walls made with our gypsum block have passed the “7” Seismic Taiwan’s 921 Earthquake Simulation and Beaufort scale “13” typhoon Wind Pressure Resistance simulation.

The Jumbo water repellent gypsum block possesses excellent water repellent capability with less than 5% water absorption rate in the 2hrs water submersion test. This characteristic prevents water seepage and microbial build up particularly at exterior walls, kitchen and bathrooms which are susceptible to high humidity condition.

Featuring high sound insulation from 42dB to 53dB, our blocks are ideal for normal house to auditorium which requires higher sound insulation.

Featuring superior thermal insulation capability due to low thermal conductivity (1/4 of red brick). Building constructed with Jumbo gypsum blocks effectively prevents heat transfer from the exterior contributing to reduction in air conditioning.
